Goblet of Fire on track to be top selling Potter DVD

Warner Home Video reports Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is on track to become one the top selling DVDs of all-time, and the best selling Harry Potter DVD in franchise history, with retailers reporting record breaking day-one sales of approximately 5 million units in North America.

Harry Potter and the magic non-melting fat statue

A chef once famed for his “Lard of the Rings” has gone one step better and won a top award for his sculpture of Harry Potter carved entirely out of fat. It took 20 hours to carve Harry out of a special type of fat called flex, a white pastry margarine, which doesn’t melt easily.

Chris Rankin touring on stage in the UK

A new production of Wuthering Heights, a timeless classic and one of the best-loved of all Victorian novels, is touring the UK through May and will feature an all-star cast including Chris Rankin, who plays Percy Weasley in the Harry Potter films, in the role of Edgar Linton.

Emma had fun at the Yule Ball

Dan Radcliffe and Emma Watson spoke about Goblet of Fire today on the eve of its release on DVD. Emma says, “They’ve always sort of played down how I look in the films and suddenly they wanted this Julia Roberts, pretty woman-esque moment, and it was really good fun.”
